A penthouse at Victor Sigoura’s 109 East 79th Street on the Upper East Side secured the top Manhattan contract last week, asking just under $35 million. The 6,500-square-foot condo, previously purchased for $28 million, includes five bedrooms, two terraces, and a fireplace. It led 18 homes asking $4 million or more to find buyers from June 30 to July 6, down from 28 the previous week. The second-priciest was a $19 million condo at Extell’s Central Park Tower.
