A French-inspired Bay Ridge mansion at 220 77th Street has hit the market for $25 million, making it Brooklyn’s most expensive active listing. Built by cosmetic dentist Dmitry Epelboym, the five-bedroom home features marble staircases, gold-leaf molding, a star-shaped stained-glass skylight, and a hammam. Epelboym bought the site for $1.3 million in 2010 and spent seven years building the custom residence. Douglas Elliman agents Alexander Boriskin, Michael Lorber, and Ammanda Espinal are handling the listing. The ask far exceeds Bay Ridge’s $7.4 million record sale, but Boriskin believes the area’s legacy homes are undervalued and may soon hit the market.
