Excavation is underway at 433-437 Flushing Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, where Congregation Yetev Lev D’Satmar is developing a seven-story, 28,662-square-foot mixed-use building through Satmar Flushing LLC. Designed by SpectorArchitects, the project will feature 34 residential units, nearly 14,000 square feet of community facility space, and parking for ten cars. Renderings show a double-height podium with Hebrew signage, topped by gray and white brick residential levels with balconies and setbacks. The Hasidic Satmar group bought the site from Yeshiva Beis Leivy for $9.9 million in 2023. Completion is expected by mid-2026. The G train is nearby at Flushing Avenue station.
