69-10 34th Avenue

Cord Meyer Development and the Variety Boys and Girls Club of Queens filed plans to rezone and redevelop a bowling alley at 69-10 34th Avenue in Jackson Heights into a 13-story, 276-unit mixed-use building. The 214,000-square-foot project would include 25 percent affordable housing, a 25,000-square-foot community facility operated by Variety, and 8,700 square feet of retail. Cord Meyer bought the 36,000-square-foot lot for $9.5 million, which is zoned residential but requires upzoning for greater density. The site was most recently operated by Lucky Strike and formerly Bowlero and AMF Lanes. A zoning application is under review.
