A historic townhouse

A historic townhouse at 104 Willow Street in Brooklyn Heights, once a 19th-century farmhouse, topped Brooklyn’s luxury market last week with a nearly $12 million asking price. The 5,200-square-foot, five-bedroom home was the priciest of 22 properties asking $2 million or more to go into contract. The second most expensive was a $7.5 million duplex condo at 130 Furman Street in Pierhouse, previously rented by Ed Sheeran. The 22 signed contracts totaled $83 million, with an average price of $3.8 million. Most homes spent over 100 days on the market and sold at a 1 percent discount from asking.
