Benchmark Real Estate sold 2 Newtown Lane in East Hampton for $10.25 million, or $2,563 per square foot. The 4,000-square-foot, two-story building, currently leased to Prada, was purchased by Benchmark in 2022 for $6.1 million. The buyer was undisclosed. The property, built nearly 100 years ago and renovated in 2012, sits on a prime corner across from 1 Main Street, which LVMH’s Bernard Arnault bought for $22 million in 2023. Jordan Sutton and Mark Golberg of Tahari Realty brokered the sale. It’s unclear whether Prada will remain a tenant under the new ownership, though the brand has recently expanded its holdings.
