Brookfield Properties secured a $400 million refinancing for its Eagle + West development in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, from JPMorgan and Citibank, replacing a previous loan from Blackstone. The 745-unit luxury high-rise, part of the Greenpoint Landing master plan, includes 191 rent-regulated units. Brookfield co-developed the site with Park Tower Group. The firm is also involved in major developments in the Bronx and Lower Manhattan. Outside NYC, Brookfield recently sold a Downtown LA office tower for $210 million—$40 million less than its debt.
