Extell Development sold a five-bedroom, 7,100-square-foot condo on the 116th floor of Central Park Tower for $46 million, about $7 million below its last asking price and nearly $20 million under its original offering price. The sale, at $6,500 per square foot, continues a trend of discounted deals at the Billionaires’ Row supertall. Despite high-profile sales like a $117 million duplex last summer, prices at the building have generally trended about 25 percent below initial expectations. Extell, led by Gary Barnett, is still seeking a buyer for its 17,500-square-foot penthouse, once listed at $250 million.
