Hackman Capital Partners and Affinius Capital refinanced the $280 million debt on Silvercup Studios in Long Island City. The original loan, from Apollo Global Management and Deutsche Bank, dated back to their 2020 acquisition of the studio for a reported $500 million. Newmark’s Jordan Roeschlaub and Jonathan Firestone arranged the refinancing. Silvercup Studios spans more than 10 acres across Queens and the Bronx, with 23 soundstages and 265,000 square feet of office and production space. Hackman recently secured approval for a $1.25 billion redevelopment of Television City in Los Angeles, further expanding its production footprint.
