Josh Gotlib and Meyer Orbach

Josh Gotlib and Meyer Orbach are launching GO Residential REIT, a Toronto Stock Exchange–listed vehicle backed by a $2.7 billion luxury multifamily portfolio in Manhattan. The REIT, formed through their joint venture GO Partners, includes five properties totaling over 2,000 units, headlined by the 761-unit Copper Apartments. Other assets include 685 First Avenue, 1 East River Place, and One and Two Sutton Place. Proceeds from the IPO will help pay down $1.4 billion in debt and retire preferred interests. The REIT plans to raise below-market rents, upgrade units, and monetize amenities. Gotlib will serve as CEO and CIO; Orbach as board chair.
