Manhattan’s luxury market saw 28 signed contracts last week for homes asking $4 million or more, totaling $211 million in asking prices. The priciest deal was for a renovated six-story townhouse at 16 East 64th Street, listed at $25 million. The second-highest was a $19 million condo at the Plaza Hotel, once home to architect Frank Lloyd Wright. The 4,000-square-foot unit features 13-foot ceilings and was gut renovated by Lisa and James Cohen. Of the 28 properties, 21 were condos, three were townhouses, and four were co-ops. The average asking price was $7.5 million after a 7% discount.
