Matthew Karch, co-founder of video game developer Saber Interactive, purchased an oceanfront estate at 33 Lily Pond Lane in East Hampton Village for $31.5m. The 7,000-square-foot, 1970s-era home sits on nearly two acres with a guesthouse, pool, and tennis court, and sold for about $4,500 per square foot. Karch, who plans to replace the existing five-bedroom residence with a new build for personal use, was drawn by its direct oceanfront location. Sellers Norman and Helene Stark had owned the property since 1994, acquiring it for $4.7m and once listing it for as high as $75m.
