Shlomo Karpen refinanced his 139-unit rental building at 60 Cedar Street in Bushwick with a $70.8 million loan from Newmark, replacing debt previously held by Popular Bank. According to city data, the building has a market value of $9.9 million. Karpen, head officer of Cedar Tower LLC, signed the deal with Ashby Gatens for Newmark.
