The former Plaza Hotel condo once home to architect Frank Lloyd Wright has gone into contract. Unit 409 at 1 Central Park South, a four-bedroom, 4,000-square-foot residence with Central Park views, was listed for $18.9 million. Sellers James and Lisa Cohen, represented by Compass’ Charlie Attias, had purchased the condo in 2009 for $13 million and renovated it extensively. The Plaza, converted into condos by Elad Properties in 2003, offers amenities like concierge service, 24-hour dining, and housekeeping. Though once a top address, the Plaza has lost some appeal, with 28 units currently listed for sale.
