The Wythe Diner, a beloved 1950s-style railcar diner in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, is being relocated to Steiner Studios in the Brooklyn Navy Yard to serve as a permanent film set. Known for appearances in “The Good Shepherd” and “Men in Black 3,” the diner was sold by Sandy Stillman for $12.5 million to a developer planning a residential project. Originally opened in 1968, the diner operated under various names including Relish and Café De La Esquina before closing in 2018. Doug Steiner, who has personal ties to the diner, is preserving it for future productions filmed at Steiner Studios.
