Whitney Park, a 36,500-acre Adirondack estate more than twice the size of Manhattan, is back on the market for $125 million, down from its original $180 million asking price. The property includes lakes, streams, multiple homes—including the 7,000-square-foot Camp Deerlands—and recreational amenities. Originally assembled by financier William Whitney, it passed through his descendants to Marylou Whitney and then her husband, John Hendrickson, who died last year. Hendrickson had planned to sell due to the estate’s overwhelming scale. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the nearby town of Long Lake. Dan Collins of Four Seasons Sotheby’s holds the listing.
